Injuries can be prevented by evaluating the biomechanics of the athlete. Once the mechanics have been corrected and the muscular-skeletal systems have been balanced, a program of stretches, weight training, and dietary supplements can be suggested to keep the player in the best physical condition. Eating and sleeping routines are also a part of the overall program of treatment. Suggestions on how to gain or lose weight by regulated exercise is discussed. Off-season activities are given to enhance both the mental and physical aspects of the athlete.
